Fay Hanniker BA (Hons), PGCE, C Cert, MA, MBACP Accred
I am an experienced accredited relationship counsellor, having worked with Relate and in private practice for 20 years. I have also also worked as a trainer running workshops on relationship-based issues. These include 3 years working on the Separated Parents Information Programme to support separated parents and their children as well as delivering training for professionals supporting families in schools and Surestart centres.
I specialise in working with couples and individuals facing challenges whether this is in, or at the end of, their relationships. I work collaboratively with my clients to enable them to find more fulfilling and less conflicted relationships. In counselling we can explore and understand the beliefs and behaviours that enable positive healthy relationships and those that contribute to difficulties so that informed choices about the relationship's future can be made.

During my 21 years of experience as a relationship counsellor I have supported my clients, enabling them to explore, understand and resolve a wide and diverse range of difficulties. I am committed to helping people deal with emotional crises and strengthen their relationships, through increased self awareness and enabling change . As well as counselling, I have run training courses for many different family and relationship related issues, including the Separated Parents Information Programme, for separated parents in conflict and Dealing with Difficult Behaviour - a parenting course.
n the last fourteen years I have developed specialism through professional training and accreditation, to help couples and individuals where intimacy has become difficult, whether emotional or sexual, in my Psychosexual Therapy (PST) practice.
I help my clients recognise and challenge unhelpful learning, beliefs and behaviours in order to enjoy their intimate lives more fully. I have tutored student counsellors to become Psychosexual Therapists for 5 years for the Relate Institute.

Diane Aspell AdvDip, BSc (Psych), Cert, MA, MBACP
I am an experienced and well-trained relationship counsellor offering support to families, couples and individuals across Berkshire. My private practice is in Tilehurst, Reading. It is easily accessible to clients from Reading, Caversham, Pangbourne, Goring, Newbury and surrounding areas.
In offering a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment, I am committed to supporting clients as they they explore what is going on for them and we can work together to help. As an integrative therapist, my work is informed predominantly by psychodynamic and systemic theories - drawing, in addition, on ideas from humanistic therapies and CBT.
I am also a counselling supervisor - supporting and overseeing other counsellors in their own practice.
